Set in the coastal city of Mombasa, Unyagoni follows Bahati Ngazi, a popular radio star known as "Mtoto Rangi ya Pesa," as she embarks on a transformative journey in sex education. The documentary blends modern perspectives with traditional wisdom, celebrating Swahili customs while capturing Bahati’s bold commitment to opening up discussions around taboo subjects, fostering knowledge, and empowering communities through education.

Different ideas need different things. I work across the creative process, stepping in where the story and the people making it need me most.

  • Finding the thread before the making begins — shaping ideas, narratives and creative approaches around what needs to be said and who needs to hear it.

  • Bringing ideas into the real world through thoughtful planning, production and creative coordination, independently or alongside the right people for the job.

  • Where story, rhythm and detail come together. From shaping raw footage into a narrative to the finishing touches that give the work its final look and feel.
